HOW CAN WE HELP?
Thank you for visiting our website. Please feel free to contact us using the form below or via email to ask any questions about our physiotherapy services.
At your first physiotherapy session, your physiotherapist will take the time to understand your condition by asking about your medical history, symptoms, and any goals you may have for treatment. A physical assessment will follow to help identify the cause of your issue. Based on this, your physio will explain the diagnosis and create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs. You may also receive some initial hands-on treatment and advice on exercises or self-care strategies to get started on your recovery.
Yes, we recommend bringing any relevant scans, such as X-rays, or test results related to your injury. This helps your physiotherapist better understand your condition and provide the most accurate assessment and treatment guidance.
It depends on the treatment you'll be having, but as a general rule, we suggest wearing loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely.
This depends on your condition, how long it’s been present, and your personal goals. Your physiotherapist will be able to provide you a clearer idea after your initial assessment.
We treat a wide range of conditions including, but not limited to, musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, neurological conditions, mobility and balance issues, and work or accident-related injuries. We support people of all ages, from children to older adults.
We also work with recreational and competitive athletes and have experience supporting local sporting clubs. Our focus is not just recovery, but also injury prevention and safe return to sport.
Yes. We combine evidence-based manual therapy with structured exercise rehabilitation. Treatment may include manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, shockwave therapy, clinical Pilates, strength training, and education – depending on what best suits your needs.
To make a booking, simply give our clinic a call on (03) 8595 5951. Our friendly team will be happy to assist you in finding a suitable appointment time and answer any questions you may have. Alternatively, you can email us, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible to confirm your booking.
We accept payment via cash, cheque, EFTPOS, Visa, and MasterCard, and kindly ask that all payments be made on the day of your appointment. If you have private health insurance with extras cover, we can process your claim through HICAPS, allowing you to simply pay the gap. For those attending under a Medicare EPC plan, please remember to bring your Medicare card with you.
Yes, Medicare rebates $60.35 per session. If the session fee is higher, a gap payment applies. We’ll always tell you the gap amount upfront.
Medicare contributes to the cost of physiotherapy only if you’ve been referred by your GP under the federal government’s Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. This program provides eligible patients with up to five subsidised sessions each calendar year, once your doctor has completed the required referral.
Please note, unused sessions do not roll over, so it’s important to use them within the calendar year.
You may be eligible if you have a chronic condition lasting (or expected to last) six months or more and have a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan with a referral to physiotherapy.
No, a referral from your GP isn’t needed to see a physiotherapist if you're coming as a private patient. However, if your treatment is being funded through the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) or you’re eligible under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan, then a referral is required. The CDM program allows for up to five Medicare-subsidised physiotherapy sessions per calendar year, depending on your eligibility.
Yes, physiotherapy sessions may be partially reimbursed if your private health insurance includes extras cover for physiotherapy. The rebate amount varies depending on your health fund and your level of cover. If you're unsure, we can help you check your entitlements or guide you on how to find out what your rebate will be.
No. For clients with an accepted WorkCover claim, there are no out-of-pocket costs.
If your claim is still being processed, you may still book but you may be asked to pay privately or wait for approval before WorkCover will be billed. We will always explain this process clearly.
For your first WorkCover appointment, please bring your WorkCover claim number (or confirmation that your claim has been lodged), date of injury with any relevant claim or insurer details, case manager contact details (if assigned), and a Certificate of Capacity from your GP (if time off work is required).
No. If you have an approved TAC treatment plan, there are no out-of-pocket costs.
If your TAC treatment approval has expired, you may need to seek further approval via TAC and your GP, or pay upfront while a new treatment plan is being requested. If approved, TAC may reimburse part or all of the fees.
Please bring your TAC claim number, accident date, case manager details (if available), and your treatment approval letter.
