Cagda has developed a vested interest in providing individuals in the community with accomplishing their goals to enable them to return to their daily activities, work, sports and leisure they find valuable. He loves the rewarding feeling of having the ability to make a positive impact on a person’s quality of life.
Cagda graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree, having previously attained a Bachelor of Science majoring in Anatomy at the University of Melbourne. He has been involved in caring for many age groups, spanning from paediatrics to geriatrics, in conditions relating to musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiorespiratory care.
Cagda not only utilises exercise-based practices and loves leading clinical pilates sessions, but also adjunct therapies consisting of hands on manual therapy, dry needling, cupping, shockwave therapy, education and holistic approaches to ensure his patients are empowered and gain the health outcomes they desire. Cagda also has experience working with local football clubs and is passionate about overcoming and preventing sporting injuries.
Outside of physiotherapy, Cagda is an avid sports fan, particularly of AFL, soccer, tennis and Formula 1, and enjoys watching and attending multiple live events (in addition to losing sleep for 4 am live soccer games). He has participated in soccer, tennis and AFL, most recently in the VAFA League, but lately has directed his sporting intent to Indoor AFL and Futsal. Cagda loves music, spending time with his family and friends, while also exploring Melbourne’s food scene.
