If you hold a valid Gold or White DVA (Department of Veterans' Affairs) card and have an accepted referral as per your GP, Plenty Physiotherapy welcomes you. We understand the unique needs of veterans and offer compassionate, evidence-based physiotherapy to support mobility, pain relief, rehabilitation and overall wellbeing.
• No gap physiotherapy care (for approved DVA referrals) – For veterans with an authorised DVA referral, our physiotherapy services incur no out-of-pocket costs when treated by our physiotherapists.
• Personalised and veteran-centred treatment plans – We tailor rehab programs to each person’s history, needs, and goals, whether for chronic conditions, musculoskeletal issues, joint or soft tissue injuries, post surgery rehab, or mobility problems.
• Comprehensive therapies and rehab options – From manual therapy and pain management to strength, flexibility, and functional movement work, we design programs that aim to restore or maintain function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life.
• Supportive, veteran-friendly environment – We value respect, dignity and understanding. Our team is experienced in working with DVA clients and appreciates the specific needs veterans often have.
To begin DVA funded physiotherapy at Plenty Physiotherapy, you will need:
• A valid DVA card (Gold or White)
• A referral from your GP, hospital doctor, or specialist specifying that physiotherapy is clinically necessary.
• Present this referral and your DVA card at your first appointment. Our admin team will handle all DVA paperwork and billing, so you don’t need to pay upfront.
Please note that if you hold a 'Totally and Permanently Incapacitated (TPI) Gold Card', physiotherapy services may not be subject to the usual session/treatment limits under DVA arrangements.
